Project Manager

Responsibilities for the Project Manager will include but not limited to the following:

  • Develop and maintain excellent relationships with clients
  • Communicate with owners, subcontractors, and suppliers
  • Resolve issues not able to be resolved at the jobsite level
  • Coordinate and manage superintendents
  • Implement quality control, including full compliance with plans, specifications, and contract agreements
  • Attend jobsite meetings, manage all onsite change orders, and process and track RFI's
  • Bottom line responsibility for project cost, quality and schedule
  • Establish and update project schedule
  • Conduct subcontractor pre-bid meetings
  • Coordination of purchasing activities
  • Maintain project budgets and manage the submittal process
  • Identify and manage change orders
  • Other duties as necessary

Skills and Experience Requirements for the Project Manager:

  • 3-5 years experience in a project management role in a construction environment
  • Engineering, Construction Management, or Architectural degree (or related course of study); completion of Construction Management Certificate Program, or equivalent
  • Civil construction or utility infrastructure experience is highly beneficial
  • Ability to read and understand plans and specifications
  • Basic estimating and scheduling skills
  • Software proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Extremely organized with ability to prioritize a diversified workload
  • Sense of humor
  • Shows initiative, diplomacy and confidentiality in daily actions
