ACT Leasing, Inc., is looking for a well-qualified and exceptional Junior Accountant / bookkeeper to join our growing organization.  The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced, always changing environment and is at the top of their game.

We are seeking an individual with a bookkeeping and accounting background to assist senior management in daily operations. The individual should be a self-starter with the ability to work well in a team environment. Along with accounting experience, we are seeking someone with the aptitude and interest in learning all aspects of the business.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Financial statement preparation
  • Data entry & preparation to implement new asset management software
  • Vehicle inventory entry
  • Provide administrative assistance for senior management team
  • Other administrative assignments
  • Data entry for accounts receivable and payable
  • Process paperwork for banks, clients, and/or DMV
  • Manage bank accounts and reconcile monthly
  • Prepare monthly client billing

REQUIREMENTS

While experience with automotive leasing, is preferred, we will train you if you offer the basic skills needed to succeed in this career opportunity:

  • Commitment to outstanding customer service
  • Great data entry skills
  • Proficiency using Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel
  • Experience using Quickbooks preferred
  • Minimum 5 years Accounting or Bookkeeping experience
  • Prompt, reliable, responsible and resourceful
  • Strong attention to detail and sense of urgency.
  • Excellent communication skills both written and oral.
  • A team player who is focused on providing exemplary customer service.
  • A Self-starter with a positive attitude and willingness to succeed
  • Time Management – ability to prioritize workload and manage one's own time.
  • BS Degree in Accounting
