Job Description

Job Title:                          Aerospace Product Support Specialist

Location:                          Wheeling, IL.

Overview:                       Support product line in maximizing profits and increasing revenue.


  1. Repair Management:

            a)       Entering and processing all repair orders, repair pricing, and track repair vendor performance.

            b)      Manage assets being dismantled for spare parts.

            c)       Identify material required for repair as well as source material that scraps at repair.

            d)      Maintain appropriate market and technical knowledge for targeted products.

            e)      Coordinate with operations to ensure effective and timely shipments/receipts of material to/from customers/vendors

        2. Material Management:

           a)       Manage backlog reports and track monthly on time performance.

           b)       Assist with brokering material as required.

           c)       Manage exchange process; including quoting, invoicing, shipping details, paperwork, core returns, repair, training                           staff on process.  Communicate with customers, product lines, and sales all information related to exchange.

           d)      Assist product lines managers with market pricing and update ERP System (Quantum).

           e)      Data mining to ensure adequate inventory is ready for market

        3. Data Management:

           a)       Identify alternate part numbers and update quantum with alternates and SB/AD data.

           b)      Maintain organized records of work scope, shop reports, work performed, and contracts of all assets managed by the                      overhaul service group.

           c)       Perform detailed part price evaluations include breakdown if sold in components.

        4. Transaction Sales Management: (As above respronsibilities are maintained)

           a)       Build and maintain target accounts

           b)      Sales of items at targeted sales levels to optimize gross margin

           c)       Negotiate transactions based upon pricing and terms criteria

           d)      Process orders with Company and project staff protocol

           e)      Maintain superior communications with account and appropriate staff throughout the transaction process including                        systematic touch points with all targeted accounts  in optimal manner

           f)        Ensure transaction data is added and maintained in Quantum database

           g)       Seek other opportunities with assigned accounts and for the company in general

 Bonus Opportunity:  A bonus will be based on the combination of performance measurements for the product line.
